Our Mac apps and Apple Silicon powered Macs

The question, if our Mac apps - especially the HSD Versions Cleaner - run on Apple M1 Macs and/or if there are any known problems, pops up every now and then. So it may be worth to provide some basic information about this topic here.

- A: Yes, they run very well on Apple M1 Macs under Rosetta 2.
Some outlook regarding the HSD Versions Cleaner
As mentioned above, version 2.1 of the HSD Versions Cleaner runs very well on Apple M1 Macs under Rosetta 2. We have it running on an Apple M1 MacBook Air for a while now. It's really amazing: even importing a huge amount of files feels as smooth as doing so on a MacBook Pro 16" - again - on the Apple M1 MacBook Air, version 2.1 of the app just runs under Rosetta 2!
Currently, we have a new version (V 2.2) of the app in the pipeline, which will run natively on Apple M1 Macs, and submission to the Mac App Store is scheduled for mid April (2021).
